Urvashi Makkar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad, is a seasoned academician, scholar, and institutional leader having over 23 years of an illustrious track record in Management Education. In recognition of her passion to provide composite and quality education to the young minds, she has recently been elected to the prestigious Council of Management of All India Management Association (AIMA) - the national apex body of the management profession in India as Representative of Corporate/ Institutional Members for the year 2021-2023. Continuing her journey in the areas of Research and Consultancy, she has been successfully awarded the prestigious CMI Level 5 “Certificate in Management and Leadership” for her participation in the UK-India Education & Research Initiative (UKIERI)'s "Technical Leadership Program", in collaboration with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Besides this, she has completed a Certification Course in the “Higher Education Leadership Program” from Harvard School of Education, Harvard University, Boston, USA.
